About me

Award winning film composer / sound designer, Berklee College of Music graduate, Berlinale Talents alumnus.

I find that scoring the subtext of a scene, rather than echoing what’s already on the surface, usually leads to sound and picture blending into something greater than the sum of their parts.

I have scored or curated the sound for three features, dozens of short films, arts installations, videogames and hundreds of ads. My work is trusted by Universal Pictures, Channel 5, Rai Cinema, Outfit7, and many others.

I care about stories

I love working with people dedicated to finding the best way of pushing their story forward, with no preconceived notion of “that’s how it’s always been done,” people who want every project to provide the audience with a unique cinematic experience.

Great stories are “equipment for living” [Kenneth Burke]. They dig deep into human nature, exposing us to elemental truths of life and the world that surrounds us. The audience knows that and it’s our responsibility as storytellers to do them justice.
